What are Mirror Wills?

Mirror wills are two separate wills made by a couple that are almost identical in content. The purpose of mirror wills is that each person can leave his or her estate to the other person and subsequently to their children as beneficiaries or to another beneficiary. This allows each individual in a couple to serve as the other's executor in the event of one's death.
